Today is the last day of our wonderful trip in New York. We got to explore and experience many new and interesting things that we otherwise wouldn't have gotten the chance to. Dr. Broyles decided that it was time to celebrate. Celebrate our adventure and success in this trip. We got to meet different people with cultures and experiences unique of our own. It was an experience worth celebrating.

We dined at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. It was a really swanky place that gave us yet another peak into the New York experience.

We were guided to our table outside on the patio. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon. It was perfect weather to dine outside and talk with our newfound friends. As we began to order, a band started to set up for their set. We couldn't contain our excitement for this wonderful evening. By the time we got our delicious food the band began their jazz set with a Marilyn Monroe type singing lead.

We had a choice between juicy roasted chicken and tender smoked salmon. I got the salmon, cooked to perfection and fell apart with the touch of my fork. It was exquisite and well worth it. For dessert we had the choice between carrot cake, creme burlee and ice cream. I choose the rich, creamy, fluffy carrot cake. It was the perfect ending to the perfect class trip.

By the end of dinner Dr. Boryles paid and it was time to part ways. Everyone had their own activities and agendas to attend to before the trip was through. Br. Broyles and a couple others went to see the magnificent Aladdin the musical on Broadway, while others went to comedy clubs or souvenir shopping.

All in all it was a meal to be remembered. One last hurrah to celebrate the ending of a chapter in each of our lives. This trip will be a trip we will never forget, especially since Dr. Broyles had us write in our journals every night.

Thanks for the great memories New York! I'll sure be back soon!
