Our group was able to visit media agency Zenith, Friday May 19. Zenith is an agency that is part of Publicis Media. During the presentation, we learned that they are driven by their client’s trust, talent, and transformation. They specialize in media specialize, digital, and communications.
During our visit, we had the pleasure to hear from Jeff Ratner, Caitlin Carr, Allyson miller, and Kerry Marchetti. Each speaker gave a presentation that truly gave us a deep understanding about their roles at Zenith and how the ad industry is evolving digitally.
One of the most interesting things I heard about was Zeniths “You explore program”. As an employee, the program allows you to travel abroad for two weeks with another employee. A requirement to be a part of the program is to be an employee for one full year. How exciting is it to be able to work, live and breathe new culture?
Another exciting announcement we heard about during our visit, was about the Publicis Media Training Program. This program is for recent college graduates wanting to pursue the media industry. The program gives you the skills and knowledge you will need to start off your career. It is a paid, full-time program that last 120 days. During the program, you are given two rotations. Meaning, that you get to train within two different roles. You can start in analytics the first half of the program and then switch to digital, or start at planning and end in programmatic. The purpose of the program is to find where your strengths are career wise.
Zenith holds many opportunities for their employees and the future employees to come. I myself have considered possibly applying for the media training program that will take place next year. I have already missed the deadline for this year unfortunately.
